Zenith Solar did an excellent job from start to finish. The proposal phase was very straight-forward and easy to understand. I was able to adjust the number of panels for what I felt was best for my needs. The overall process for installation was super easy. Zenith submitted all the necessary paperwork to the city and followed up with the building inspector. The main installation for 14 panels took only 1 day, and I was up and running within a week. I'm very happy with JP, Amy, Ann, and Nick in every aspect. Top notch team and I would highly recommend them!

Zenith Solar is a great, locally owned solar company. They were very flexible and efficient in installing a retrofit solar system on our house. It was so good, we are having them install on our new construction home as well!

My sales associate Ian was so amazing and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed when it came to solar and he even came by after the install to make sure we were fully satisfied. The installers were very professional and made sure they cleaned up after themselves and did an amazing job.

I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Zenith Solar. But first, allow me to provide some background: My weekly commute round trip to work is 450 miles. I made the decision to buy an electric car based on information from the SDGE website. According to the website, an EV owner can charge the vehicle during low demand hours for 9 cents a kilowatt hour. However, what the website doesn't tell you is that there are loopholes that may exclude you from participating. Much to my disgust, that is what the robber barons at SDGE did to me. Instead of paying 9 cents a kilowatt hour to charge my new car, I am paying a whopping 38 cents a kilowatt hour to charge! At that rate, it is cheaper to drive a gas car! That is among the highest, if not THE highest, electric rates in the country. I was seeing a $500 a month electric bill for a 900 square foot house and we don't use AC.
Consequently, we decided to look into solar. We contacted 3 installers, one of the big ones and two smaller companies. We were very impressed by the presentation given by sales rep Ann Ruud and so we awarded the job to Zenith. The entire process was done efficiently and professionally. All aspects of the project from permits through final inspection went without a hitch. The Installation crew worked dawn until dusk (and beyond) to get it finished. The few minor complications that arose were quickly dealt with and resolved.
So, my advice to every homeowner is to go solar and to go with Zenith Solar. Do not allow the blood sucking lizards at SDGE to continue their blood sucking ways.

I reached out to JP about a week ago that one of my solar panels was not preforming like it should. So he responded back ASAP and now Nick and a other tech is on my roof as I send this review to fix the problem. Thank you guys so much and work safe.

Back in September a installed a Ring security camera to replace an aging flood. Well this for some reason caused enough noise on the same curcuit as my solar that my solar stopped communicating. A technician, Nick, from Zenith Solar spent most of an afternoon troubleshooting the problem. After much research and testing he determined the problem a came up with a solution. System back up and running . Great job by Nick.
